We have a designated procedure in conducting our tank cleaning works. Once the client hand over the tank to us below level (below the manhole), we shall proceed with transferring the product using diaphragm pump to another designated tank. We then commence with isolation activities in which we will spade/blind the inlet and outlet lines to proceed with the dismantling of manhole covers. We use only copper hammer to knock the bolts and nuts, this is to prevent spark while knocking. Installation of pneumatic blower will be done (to be kept running to remove excessive vapors in the tank) to proceed with ventilation activities before man entry. Once the gas test is done, our trained personnel will enter the tank using airline mask to remove remaining oil and sludge. The sludge will be then kept in drums and labelled.
